Beck

Working mainly in acrylics, watercolor and mixed media, Pamela Beck is an artist whose subject matter is often derived from her Louisiana heritage. Always drawing from a very early age, she had her first art class as a high school senior and went on to receive a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Lindenwood University in St. Charles, Missouri. While traveling extensively and living through-out the United States and abroad, she has met and studied with many well-known artists. She has won numerous awards, including the Harry D. Hendren Award for meritorious work in studio art. She was also a founding member of Artists 5 Gallery in Kingwood, Texas, displaying much of her work there until it was flooded by Hurricane Harvey in 2017. Her art can currently be seen on Etsy at Pamela Jayne Designs, Webb Gallery in Atascocita Texas, and her jewelry is available at My Happy Place in Kingwood, Texas. Wherever life may take her next, she will always be an artist at heart!
