A Bit About Me
Beatrice Fischer Justus

Beatrice was born in Basel Switzerland. Early on she was a very creative individual. She pursued her creativity by taking art classes for 16 years and going to culinary school. Upon graduation, she became an international chef trained in multi-cultural cuisines. She practiced her skills throughout many countries and came to the United States in 2001, whereupon she became a US citizen and opened her own business working as a personal chef for private parties. She successfully practiced her trade until 2020 after 38 years doing what she loved she decided
to retire when COVID started.
Beatrice visited more than 69 countries. She would create paintings depicting impressionable moments from her travels. When she retired, she decided to pursue her passion for art on a
regular basis. Like any artist, her skills evolved over time. She began painting with oils, then used acrylic paints utilizing a spatula technique. Later she created abstract art by using recycled packaging materials. After this she moved to things typically found in nature such as tree bark, oyster shells, bird feathers, etc. Her goal was to highlight the natural beauty of things God has given us.

Lately Beatrice has begun incorporating clay into her nature themes. She has created clay 4owers, waves, and pedals. She is always searching for new ideas to unleash her creative talents. Whatever medium she uses for her art, she is always trying to put a little of herself into each piece. Consequently, they are all distinctive and unique.
She has participated in art shows in Switzerland, Corrales/Albuquerque New Mexico, and Providenciales Turks
and Caicos.
